Ocean Dash

This durational performance was made after a residency in Gapa-Do, 2018.

The artist observed rural life and the simplicity of living reflecting on industrialization and the negative effect it has on

the environment against the simple way of living that people still run in the world being in pace with nature rather than in case

of the hunger of industrialized cities and the economy.

The artist walks for many hours holding a huge cube of ice containing dead fishes. The cube slowly melts revealing

the dead fishes inside so to reflect about global warming in connection with industrialization.

설치작품 한 쪽에 어두운 푸른 빛에 싸인 사진 몇 장이 단서였다. 그는 2018년 가파도 레지던시에서의 기억을 소환하여 산업화에 찌든 인간들이 저지른 환경재난과 지구온난화에 대한 메시지를 퍼포먼스에 녹여냈다.
